1975-1980

Graduate Student, Institute of Molecular Genetics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Studies for obtaining the degree of Ph.D.

1980-1992

Research Scientist, Institute of Molecular Genetics, Department of Developmental Genetics and  Department of  Mammalian Gene Expression, Prague. Analysis of molecular mechanisms involved in the expression of developmentally regulated mammalian genes.

1995-now

Research Scientist, Institute of Molecular Genetics, Department of Molecular Virology, Prague. Study of various aspects of cellular transformation and molecular mechanisms of cell death induced by photodynamic therapy. Development of new advanced strategies for cancer treatment.

Visiting Research Fellow, Friedrich-Miescher Laboratorium der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, Tubingen, Germany. Methodological aspects of the transfer of embryonic stem cells into mouse blastocyst.

Visiting Scientist (Award of Medical Research Council of Canada); Department of Medicine, University of Ottawa, Canada; Research project: The role of the retinoic acid receptor in differentiation of embryonal carcinoma cells.

1992-1995

Postdoctoral Fellow; Department of Microbiology and the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology, University of Texas at Austin, USA; Research project: Transformation of avian fibroblasts by Rel oncoproteins.

Visiting Scientist- Section of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology and the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology, University of Texas at Austin, USA; Research project: The role of AP-1 factors and MAP kinases pathways in v-Rel induced transformation.

 

She has obtained her broad experience in molecular and cellular biology during numerous scholarships and visits abroad (Finland, Germany, Canada, USA).

She is the author or co-author of more than 50 papers published in international journals.
