Dr. Sabry M. Attia
is an associate professor at the department of Pharmacology and Toxicology,
College of Pharmacy, Al-Azhar University and currently works as a professor
in College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. He received his M.Sc. in
Pharmacology and Toxicology from Al-Azhar University, Egypt and his Ph.D. in
Genetics at Technical University of Munich, Germany in 2000-2004. Dr. Attia
also has worked at GSF-Institute of Experimental Genetics, Germany from the
period of May, 2002 to September, 2004 as a postdoctoral research associate
and from in 2007 as a postdoctoral fellowship in Jerzy Adamski’s group at
GSF-Institute of Genome Analysis Center, Germany. This period of research
was concerned with developing new approaches for drug screening, toxicants
detection and prevention. He has contributed to number of journals
interested in the area of Molecular Pharmacology and Toxicology. During his
scientific career, Dr. Attia has developed an expertise in several advanced
techniques and research protocols related to Molecular pharmacology and
toxicology. Dr. Attia attended multiple courses on research methodology as
well as biostatistics. Dr. Attia has more than forty publications in
peer-reviewed international journals. Dr. Attia was awarded “State Prize for
Encouragement of Scientific Research” in Medical Sciences, the Academy of
Scientific Research and Technology, Cairo, Egypt, 2010 and the second prize
for the best 2 presentations at the Anticancer Drug Conference 2011. Held in
